About us!    

Sunrise is a youth movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process. We’re building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people.

Sunrise NYC Youth hub came to be when six NYC students met during the Sunrise Wide Awake Program the summer. After completing the program, we realized that NYC needed to include the voices of younger people more in their activism, which is why the youth hub was created. The youth hub is a special place for middle and high schoolers from all around the city to come together to take action in climate justice.
