Union Square Get Out the Vote Rally  

On October 30th 2020, we and our hub members gathered near George Washington Statue to have our first-ever action! This action was a rally urging Americans to get out and vote for the upcoming election. We used the awesome artwork our hub members made during the art build as our signs. After chanting and rallying, we ended off the action with speeches from Farrah, Amina, Tahmida, Aissatou, and Kourtney. These speeches outlined the personal concerns, fears, and anxieties about the election while urging the importance of everyone getting out to vote.
